The day began with energizing morning aerobics, designed to promote both physical and mental development. The children gathered in the serene compound of Powerfields Schools, set within a secure and eco-friendly environment, to engage in guided movements and stretching.
The vibrant energy on display reflected the students’ eagerness to learn, grow, and push boundaries. This opening session didn’t just encourage fitness; it helped children understand the importance of staying active.
Educators and facilitators noted how well the children responded to the games, especially when grouped in teams. Peer bonding, healthy competition, and confidence-building were evident, all essential skills in today’s world. It’s no surprise that Powerfields is recognized among the schools in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The most awaited session of the day? Swimming lessons!
For many, it was their first swimming experience, while others showed off their skills with pride. The swimming lesson emphasized Powerfields’ commitment to student safety to ensure a smooth and fun-filled session.
As the day drew to a close, emotions ran high during the Summer Bootcamp closing ceremony. Each child received a certificate of participation, presented by the Powerfields management team. Some of the children didn’t want to go home. “Can we do this every week?” one camper asked. That question alone speaks volumes about the unforgettable experience Powerfields Schools created.
